I found a concept character I drew a few years ago and decide to start modeling it. While it is still a work in progress, I'm happy with what I have done so far.
In this project I decided to go back and polish up my model of Popeye. I fixed some of the UV seams I noticed on the first one and put in a dock and water so that there wouldn't be a blank background anymore.
In this project I had to create some kind of creature. While searching for ideas, I found an orthographic of a tree creature on deviant art and decided to try to model it. I was also able to get a lot more practice with mudbox in this project and started learning about using normal and diffuse maps.
In this project I decided to attempt to model Popeye. I think the hardest part of this was by far trying to model his face. In the end I think it came out pretty good, I even had time to make a turn around video.
In this project I followed a tutorial for modeling a frog. I worked on learning how to sculpt in Autodesk Mudbox in this project and did a little texturing in it too.
Here is my dune buggy project. This was the first time I learned how to create a stage and make a spinning presentation for my models. I think it came out pretty good.
This was my first project using Autodesk Maya. The objective was to design a scene using a desk as the focus. I modeled a room after a TV show I had been watching at the time, Fringe. This was a fun first project.
